Mobile Application

Vib Cloud mobile app is the portable portion of Vib Cloud - vibration monitoring and analysis solution. Together with the one of the supported sensors (accelerometers) represents fast and reliable data collector that also offers simple data analysis on site.

Mobile app requirements:

Application should be supported on all Android devices running Android 6.0 version or higher and supporting USB On-The-Go. List of physically verified mobile devices can be found at following link. Please note in most cases you will need USB to USB mini adapter. We strongly recommend using parts from your mobile device vendor.

Information for the Digiducer 333D01 - Digital Accelerometer can be found at https://digiducer.com/.

Application is available for download from Google Play or Apple App store, search for the “Vib Cloud” or directly from following link:

Installing steps

  1. Run “Play Store” application;

  2. Search Play Store for “Vib Cloud”;

  3. Open “Vib Cloud” cart;

  4. Install “Vib Cloud” application

  5. Open “Vib Cloud” application

Permissions

On first run application will ask you to allow four permissions (location, record audio, access to files and taking pictures or videos). Failing to allow any of the four will result in application not working correctly or not working at all. All four permissions are mandatory for application to work correctly.

Getting Started

After application has been installed on your device please open it by clicking on the “Vib Cloud” icon. Enter your user credentials and initiate the first synchronization with the cloud by simply swiping down. Synchronisation status is marked with the small progress indicator located below the header. When synchronisation is completed and if user have any routes assigned to their username those routes would be presented on the screen.

Each route cart has following features:

  1. Route name;

  2. Route due date;

  3. Percentage completed;

  4. Collected parameters vs total parameters;

  5. Status colour strip (blue when on target, red when overdue and green when completed);

  6. Complete icon (click and confirm to mark route as complete).

To open route content simply tap on the route cart and list of equipment with associated tasks will be presented. Screen features:

  1. Route name;

  2. Route scheduled date;

  3. Route progress;

  4. Equipment name;

  5. Equipment progress;

  6. Equipment collected vs total parameters;

  7. Task name;

  8. Estimate task duration;

  9. Task percentage completed;

  10. Task collected vs total parameters;

To start collecting data tap on one of the tasks that you are ready to conduct. First parameter (of many) will be presented and you are ready to collect data. If you are collecting vibration parameter make sure that you plugged in one of the supported accelerometer. Each parameter screen will include following features:

  1. Route name;

  2. Tasks it belongs to;

  3. Parameter name;

  4. Quick access to all parameters from related task;

  5. Action area (parameter type related);

  6. Comments;

  7. Collected date and time;

  8. Parameter progress indicator and

  9. Delete functionality
