Collect data

This is the data collection step where practitioner manually types data in the application or collects vibration data from the approved sensors. To reach to the measurement points sections of the mobile application and collect machine’s data please follow below steps:

1. Tap on the machine you are about to collect data for

2. Connect approved accelerometer and allow VibAnalyse access

3. Tap on the “Collect Data” green button to start collecting vibration data. Data will be collected as per settings recorded at manage measurement point

4. Review collected data

Moving through the measurement points is done by swiping left or right on the collection screen or by tapping on the top right corner menu. Using the latter will outline all measurement points for the machine and will mark by green icon ones that data has been collected for. Opening the measurement point for data collection is just tap away from this menu.

Numeric, photo and text data type measurement points are following same collection steps. Photo data type provides an option to take the shot with the mobile device camera or use one from the device memory. Accessing those functionalities is done by tapping on the respective icons on the bottom right corner of photo data type measurement point.

All measurement points have comments field associated. Please use this field to further explain current state on the field as it will be present in the reporting.

Removing collected data is done by tapping on the red bin icon on the bottom right corner of each measurement point.
