Vibration Limit Sets

Vibration limit sets are the boundaries for the vibration parameter that will be used to notify data collecting person on the field, web or while reporting.

They can be accessed from the home screen by clicking “Limit Sets” from the “Database Setup” section or from the menu on the left within same section.

Vib Cloud comes with predefines limit sets. Please review those sets before creating your own as most of the limitations or ISO standards are already covered. For additional predefined limit sets please contact iTnnovate.

Creating new limit set

1. Open “Limit Sets” module, explained above in this document;

2. Click on the “Create new Vib Limit Set” button on the right side of the screen;

3. New modal window pops up outlining limit set form;

4. Fill form fields:

   1. Description;

   2. Acceleration (Investigation, Warning, Alarm);

   3. Velocity (Investigation, Warning, Alarm);

   4. Displacement (Investigation, Warning, Alarm);

   5. Demodulation (Investigation, Warning, Alarm);

5. Click on “Save Changes” button

Functionalities of limit sets

Each limit set can be:

1. Copy – Create same limit set again with prefix “Copy of “;

2. Edit – Amend existing limit set;

3. Delete – Remove limit set.

Note: deleting limit set will result in resetting the drop-down box to no selection – “Select Limit Set” for the related vibration parameters. While editing limit set will have no impact on the linked vibration parameter except amended details. Mobile application needs to be re-synchronised (swipe down on the main screen) to obtain latest changes.
