Quick start guide
Step-by-step using the PCB Package for demonstration.
Step 1 - Plug the provided gateway into power and ensure an internet connection
Power on the Raspberry Pi.
Power on the sensors, and use the provided magnet.
Make sure the gateway has an internet connection
Please note: for the measurement to be uploaded to the server, it takes about 5 minutes. Furthermore, for the measurement to be visible on the website, it can take up to 30 minutes.
Step 2 - Monitor
Log in to https://appeu.vib.cloud/
Open Dashboard to see machine condition at a glance.
Click Open Analysis on a machine card to view the Machine Dashboard.
Use Vibration Analysis for detailed spectrum and trend analysis.
Use Email Report to share machine status with colleagues.
Step 3 - Close
Power down the sensors (Turn off BluVib Sensors - step-by-step guide )
Power down the gateway
Log out of the VibCloud web portal
If you lack access to the Raspberry Pi interface or are pressed for time, you may always remove the top part of the sensor and extract the batteries.
VibCloud Online monitoring module
The PCB Package is the online client-monitoring demonstration module within VibCloud. It utilises only BluVib (Sensor-Works) hardware, offering a streamlined, standalone interface that resellers can use to showcase the solution to potential clients. This allows them to monitor machines, view vibration data, manage sensors, and configure the monitoring setupβall via a modern web dashboardβwithout requiring the full VibCloud application.
Log in at your VibCloud URL and you will land on the (Home) page. The top navigation bar provides access to all PCB Package pages.
Navigation
All PCB Package pages share a common top navigation bar with four main sections:

Your user name, role, and profile photo are displayed on the right side of the navigation bar. Click the icon to log out.
1. Dashboard (Home Page)
The Dashboard is the main landing page after login. It provides an at-a-glance overview of your monitoring setup.

1.1 Welcome banner
At the top of the page, a branded banner displays:
Your company logo (or a placeholder icon if no logo is uploaded)
Your company name and address
1.2 Machines section
The left column displays all machines registered to your account as machine cards. Usually, only one machine is used for demonstration. Each card shows:

Condition colour codes
Condition colour codes are derived from the ISO 10816 velocity limits.

Grey | No Status | No data has been collected yet, or no alarm limits are configured |
Machine card actions
Open Analysis - Navigates to the page for the selected machine
Email Report - Opens a confirmation dialog to email a machine status report
Machine status indicators
Depending on the machine's sensor and data state, additional messages may appear:
"No sensors assigned" - The machine exists but has no sensors linked yet. A link to the BluVib sensor product page is provided.
"Sensors connected - Awaiting first data collection" β Sensors are assigned but no measurement data has been received yet.
1.3 Sensors section
The right column displays a table of all sensors registered for your account:

1.4 Email machine report
Clicking "Email Report" on a machine card opens a confirmation modal:
A report summary is shown (machine name, condition, last collection date).
The recipient email field is pre-populated with your account email. You can modify it.
Click "Send Report" to deliver the report.
The emailed report includes:
VibCloud branding and your company name
Machine name, code, and overall condition
Last measurement date and number of active sensors
Overall values table β the latest Acceleration (Acc), Velocity (Vel), Demodulation (Dem), and Temperature readings for each measurement point, colour-coded by alarm status

2. Machine Dashboard
The Machine Dashboard provides detailed condition monitoring data for a single selected machine.

2.1 Component schematic
The left panel shows:
The selected machine name
A machine photo with sensor location indicators overlaid. Each indicator is colour-coded to represent the condition at that measurement point.
Directional arrows (up/down/left/right) show the sensor mount orientation.
2.2 Overall values table
Below the schematic, a table displays the latest overall measurements for each measurement point:

Cells are colour-coded based on alarm status (same colour legend as the Dashboard page). Clicking a measurement point name navigates to the Vibration Analysis page for that parameter.
2.3 Feature trends
The right panel displays trend charts for measurement point features:
Each chart shows approximately one month of historical data.
Alarm limit lines are drawn on charts: cyan for Investigate, orange for Warning, red for Alarm.
All trend charts are synchronised - zooming on one chart automatically zooms all others to the same time range.
Clicking the measurement point name above a chart navigates to the full Vibration Analysis view.
2.4 How to read this dashboard (help panel)
A collapsible help panel explains the colour codes and chart features. Click the header to expand or collapse it.
3. Vibration Analysis
The Vibration Analysis page is the most detailed analysis view, allowing you to inspect vibration data at the individual measurement and spectrum level.

3.1 Machine & measurement point selection
A machine tree on the left side lets you browse machines and their measurement points.
Selecting a measurement point loads its data in the main panels.
3.2 Available analysis views

Spectrum chart | Frequency-domain spectrum for the selected measurement, with cursor annotations and peak identification |

3.3 Spectrum features
Cursor annotations - Click on spectrum peaks to add annotations. Annotations show the frequency (Hz) and amplitude value.
Peak annotations - Colour-coded badges appear for different annotation types (e.g., harmonics, bearing frequencies).
Zoom & pan - Use the mouse to zoom into specific frequency ranges.
3.4 Waveform dialog
The waveform dialog opens in a pop-up window and displays:

4. Configuration
The Configuration page allows you to manage all aspects of your monitoring setup. Some features require administrator privileges.

Permissions: Features marked with π require the Administrator or Client Administrator role.
4.1 Company details
Edit your company profile information:
Company Name
Address
Admin Name (primary contact)
Admin Email (primary contact email)
Company Logo β Upload or replace your company logo (displayed in the Dashboard banner)
4.2 Machines management
Manage the machines (equipment) being monitored:

Machine Photo
When adding or editing a machine, you can upload a photo. The photo is automatically resized to a maximum of 450Γ450 pixels. It is displayed on the machine card (Dashboard) and as the background for sensor location positioning (Machine Dashboard).
4.3 Sensor location assignment
When you click "Sensors" on a machine card, a dialog opens where you can:
View the machine photo with existing sensor position markers
Assign sensors to specific locations on the machine
Set the measurement direction for each sensor (up, down, left, right)
Configure online monitoring parameters for each sensor position
4.4 Vibration alarm limits
Click "Limits" on a machine card to assign ISO-standard vibration alarm limit sets. These limits define the thresholds for Nominal, Investigate, Warning, and Alarm conditions shown throughout the application.
Sensors must be assigned to the machine before alarm limits can be set. If no sensors are linked, an error message will be displayed.
4.5 Sensors management
Below the machines section, a table lists all sensors for your account:

πAdding/Editing a Sensor
Click "Add Sensor" (or the edit button) to open a modal where you configure:
Sensor name - A descriptive label
Sensor type - Select from available types for your account
Sensor UUID - The BT UUID (provided by the sensor vendor)
Temperature UUID - The temperature characteristic UUID
Parent UUID - For sensors that are part of a multi-sensor node
Sensor location - A text description of where the sensor is installed
